Since some of the older post
are in german I will write here a resume about the posts in german ^^ So you
will also know what's going on :D
First of all: My introduction
:P
My name is Ümmi(actually Ümmünur
^^), I'm 16 years old. I'm Turkish but I was born and I live in Switzerland. As
you maybe know I will go on an exchange year in 2014/15 to Japan. Since my
parents weren't really excited about this idea, I had to talk to them to
convince them and I ended up paying it by myself. :D
My preparations
I have a Memory book to not
forget my friends in Switzerland :P No, actually just for having something that
remembers me of them and show me how awesome my friends are :D ^^
You can see it on the post from March :D It's like a
personal Memory book because on front it says "Ümmi's memory book"
and there is also a little quote in German that will make me smile :P
"Don't be angry because a
bird shit on your head, be happy that elephants can't fly" ;)
I actually had much trouble
with getting accepted by AFS Japan... but it isn't important anymore because
fortunately I got accepted ^^
Host family/school/city
:D
My host city is Shimada-shi in
Shizuoka-ken :D It's not really a big city with 100'000 inhabitants but for me
it's quite big, since I live in a small city with 12'000 inhabitants :P
In my host family there are a
mother, an older brother, two older sisters(who don't live at home anymore) and
a sister who is at my age :D They seem soo nice :D and I will get
Japanese-style room with tatami matts and a futon :P can't wait to meet them
^_^
My host school is in
Kikugawa-shi and it's called Tokoha Gakuen Kikugawa High School :) I will have
to wear a cute school uniform which my school will provide :P and I also know
that I will be the only exchange student there and that there weren't one since
several years :D
Vlog?
I was also thinking about
starting a vlog but I don't know if have time for it :) But if I will ever make
videos I will also post them on this Blog so that you won't miss anything
:D
I think that was everything
important from the posts in german :D
